The most-talked about music festival in Malaysia is back for its second year. Sunburst KL International Music Festival 2009, an annual event presented by Pineapple Concerts, will be held on 21 March at Polo Pavillion, Bukit Kiara Equestrian Country Club & Resort, Kuala Lumpur.

Pineapple Concerts promises Sunburst KL 2009 to be THE most exciting music festival in Malaysia, with 12-hours of non-stop live performances by local, regional and international artistes, covering a diverse musical genre such as rock, rap, hip-hop, R&B, pop, jazz, soul, and dance.

Music lovers will be entertained by great performances on six stages. The Sunburst signature Sun & Sky Stage returns as the main platform for international headliners and established local acts, while a massive indoor marquee will house the Livesounds Stage and Tuborg Loud & Clear Stage, showcasing the best local and regional acts in a more intimate setting.

The Speedzone Interactive Tour will feature Formula 1 and Moto GP simulators within a futuristic club feel environment with deejays pumping out tunes as you race along your favorite track. Last but not least, the Silent Disco arena makes its first appearance at Sunburst where not a single speaker will be in sight as revellers rock out to groovy tunes by Malaysia's A-list deejays via the 300 pairs of wireless headphones available.

Pineapple Concerts will officially announce the international headliners along with the complete artiste line-up at Malaysia's first ever silent press conference on 6 February at the main entrance of Pavilion shopping centre. Following the brief media-only event, a launch party will be held for the public immediately after where the uninitiated can sample the Silent Disco phenomena before experiencing the full-scale version at Sunburst KL 2009.

The early bird promotion offers a 30% discount off the pre-sale ticket price for those who purchase tickets from now until 8 February.
